NEWS UPDATE DECEMBER 2007 The last quarter has been a busy one here and I am looking forward to the holiday break.. Holiday Hours: Closed Dec 21st Noon and Reopen Jan 7 9:00am. Kudos to: Nick Spencer who will begin filming High Court as a series Lead in January!!!! Ashleigh Hubbard: Who just wrapped with Jude Law and Forrest Whitaker on Repo Mambo. Ashleigh also booked a role on the Murdoch Mysteries and has the release of her film, American Pie Beta House on Dec 25th Busy Girl!!! Aimee Lococo: Who also booked a role on Repo Mambo Gilson Lubin: For his successful show at the Diesel Playhouse Debra DiGiovanni: Who just returned from LA with ETalk where she guest interviewed Margaret Cho! Deb has had the Best Year of Her Career!!! 2008 should see this rising star hit the peak..When she is the guest celebrity at Gay Whistler. Deb also has a guest role on The Nutcracker as a cannon doll on Dec 29th. Oh yes!!! Debra has recently been crowned 2007 Canadian Comedy Award's Funniest Female Standup. Jeff McEnery: Who was also a recipient of 2007 Canadian Comedy Award as Best Newcomer! Jeff also guest starred on the Jon Dore Show in October. Dave Hemstad for his Leading Role in Death By Scrabble.... Dave has been really cooking with fire in the film and television areas this year!! Tom Slater and Jackie Laidlaw: Who both booked roles on Sullivan Ent. Anne of Green Gables Prequel Brian Kaulback: For his role on The Rick Mercer Show. NEWS UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2007 Where to start! A huge welcome and congratulations to Gerry Dee who is new to Law Talent Agency’s roster. Gerry was in the “Final 3” of Last Comic Standing and is currently touring the USA for comedy! Let us not forget Debra DiGiovanni who has made Canada proud in Last Comic Standing and is about to embark on exciting USA Comedy dates. She can be seen in her first show in the GTA at the Deisel Playhouse on November 25th and then for her younger fans (older are welcome too) at the Etobicoke School for the Arts on October 25th 2007. The demand for Ms. DiGiovanni grows stronger every day and why not she is a Canadian darling!!!! Kudos to: Dave Hemstad for his recent role on Mayday!!!, and Landing the Lead role in Death by Scrabble The Lovely Jennifer Ricci for landing the role of TJ Tyler on the mow Rules!! Miles Seward who booked a role on the CFC Indie, Nurse Figher Boy Dani Kind for booking MVP Debra DiGiovanni for Comedy Inc. Jay Malone for Comedy Inc. Gilson Lubin for shooting Def Comedy Jam for HBO Walter Rinaldi for his role in The Rick Mercer Report! Dave Hemstad, Peter Anthony Reid and Myles Vita Finzi for booking The Jon Dore Show Peter Anthony Reid for his upcoming starring role of his own, Comedy Now for CTV. And Paul Stephen for his role on Mayday!! Huge Kudos to Marc Donato and Dalmar Abuzeid who recently returned from Kenya Africa where they participated in helping to build a school for kids less fortunate. They had a wonderful and enlightening time. Also congratulations to the countless performers who worked in the commercial industry this past few months The industry has finally seen an upward turn so happy fall everyone and here is hoping for smashing end to the year!!!

Spring 2007 News!!!! Well it has been quite the eventful spring here at Law Talent! Here are some of what has been cooking here. Congratulations To: The lovely and talented, Debra DiGiovanni. Watch NBC starting June 13th while Debra competes for the title, Last Comic Standing. Canada can vote this time so be sure to tune in and prove that Canada is the funniest country!!! Debra has been enjoying her most successful year yet! She will also be doing a gala presentation at the 25th Anniversary of Just for Laughs in Montreal! The incredible Shane Daly who just booked a guest role on the new Shaftesbury Series, The Murdoch Mysteries. Hooray for newcomer, Ashleigh Hubbard who booked a great role (Tiffany) on American Pie Presents Beta House. Watch for this feature to be released to DVD. Kudos to Jennifer Ricci for booking a role in Instant Star as well as to Dalmar Abuzeid and Marc Donato for returning as regulars on the Award Winning, Degrassi The Next Generation. Great news for Colette Kendall who booked a role on American Girl, Kit playing opposite Joan Cusack and Abigail Breslin. Congrats to Nick Spencer for booking a role in the film, The Rocker. Last but not least a huge congrats to Lawrence Dane, who recently secured the role of Father Hendry in the Feature Film, The Wall.
